Engadi Ministries is Nathan and Claudia’s life’s work: It is an ambitious project to transform communities from the inside out, which will provide a safe after-school environment and education to hundreds of at-risk youth. Rather than treating only the symptoms of Guatemala’s impoverished and fatherless culture, Engadi tackles the root by building a ministry where school age boys can realize their full potential in Christ and, as Nathan describes it, “become the mighty men who will turn around Guatemala’s culture entirely.” Within the poor neighborhoods, Engadi continues its home-building program and partners closely with local schools and the public health department to improve living standards for all residents.
